ever-changing body,

Ebbing and flowing.

Unconcerned about each of your waves

Meeting the shore with equal force.

Reaching your best at high tide,

Bouncing sea gulls off your breakers for sport.

Sculpting rocks as art.

Lighthouse anticipates

Your changing moods,

As you overpower human expectations.

With swift and sudden storms and swells,

You occupy the land from time to time.

Your dominion knows no bounds.
