Lighthouse Digest subscriber Judi Kearney came across this unique old advertising brochure of what was called, “The Diving Flue Light House Stove of 1872.”

According to its promotional material it was the most powerful heating stove in use in America. We can only assume that the name was derived from its design, which was shaped somewhat like a lighthouse. The antique brochure has been donated to the American Lighthouse Foundation.
