Alex Dias, Vice Chair of the Friends of Pomham Rocks Lighthouse, a chapter of the American Lighthouse Foundation, and David Kelleher, historian, in the lantern by the magnificent 1st order Fresnel lens at Southeast Light on Block Island, Rhode Island, where Nathaniel Dodge served as the 1st assistant keeper from 1874 to 1882. David Kelleher is an original founding member of the Friends of Pomham Rocks Lighthouse, a group that Timothy Harrison helped form in 2004, which is the organization that has, since then, restored the lighthouse.
