Harry E. Freeman was born on May 28, 1889 in Milbridge, Maine. He was a keeper at lighthouses on Ram Island, Petit Manan, Isles of Shoals, and Mount Desert Rock from 1915 to at least 1921. He married Iva Dorr in 1914 and had a son, Harry Jr, born in 1923. Sadly, Iva passed away in 1933 at age 42. Harry remarried seven years later to Helen Wallace. Back to the edition of: May/Jun 2020
