This stained-glass window that now memorializes Bergen Point Lighthouse is attributed to John La Farge who created other stained-glass windows of a similar style at New York’s Sailor’s Snug Harbor during the 1880s renovation. The building in which it resides is currently housing the Newhouse Center for Contemporary Art. (Courtesy Dennis Moore) Back to the edition of: Mar/Apr 2020
