Photo Caption:

The Tongue Point Lighthouse Depot in Astoria, Oregon was home port for the district 17 lighthouse tenders. Here they received servicing and upgrades on a regular basis. This photo, taken in 1929, shows the stacks of the lighthouse tenders Rose (left) and Manzanita rising above the far side of the dock, while the large tender Heather has the tiny Larch moored in front of it on the near side.
