Capt. Loring William Myers served as a keeper at Lubec Channel Lighthouse for an amazing 33 years. He died on March 25, 1942 and his funeral service was held at the Christian Temple Church. He was buried at the Lawson Cemetery in Lubec, Maine. (Lighthouse Digest archives, courtesy Dorothy Pickard.)
