2nd from the left is Cape Canaveral Lighthouse assistant lighthouse keeper Oscar F. “Floyd” Quarterman with head keeper Clinton Honeywell on the far right. The man in the middle, in the dark jacket, is believed to be USLHS engineer Frederick P. Dillon. Oscar Quarterman was the assistant keeper at Cape Canaveral Light from 1923 to 1939 and head keeper from 1930 to 1939. His father, George M. Quarterman, had been a keeper there from 1876 to 1887. Clinton Honeywell had started at Cape Canaveral Light as the 3rd assistant keeper in 1891, then the 2nd assistant in 1893, and head keeper in 1904 until his retirement in 1930.
